After a long pause, the chime of the Ewerby church clock can be heard again - Feb 2000.

One of the major objectives of this site is to remind us of the history of Ewerby. An ongoing task will be collate many sources of information that are currently in various state, and to sift through all the material to create a single volume on this web.

If you have any old photographs or paintings, may be it can put on the web for all to enjoy. As always suggestions welcome. This is your web site!

Ewerby main street has changed considerably through time. The thatched cottage shown above may well be the very last standing on the main street dating probably from the late 17, early 18 'hundreds.
les_gostick_painting.jpg (82231 bytes) Painting by Les Gostick showing how Ewerby used to be in the late 1960's. Although many more new houses have been built, the village has still kept its charm. Some of the old houses, like the Manor Farm House (known as the "The Manor House") in the centre of the village has been lovingly restored.
