EWERBY LADIES GROUP Tuesday 7th Dec, 8-10pm Christmas Table Decorations - Tonight's demonstration will show you quick and simple table decorations that will give your table the 'wow' factor!

CHINE SUPPER, Sat 27th Nov, 7 for 7.30 pm - In aid of our Church funds. Traditional Lincolnshire food, raffle, sing-song. For all the family.

SHEENA DAVIS  GROUP Thursday 14TH October 7.30pm - Another evening arranged by Lincolnshire Rural and Community Touring. Sheena visited us in 2002 singing  jazz in her own inimitable way. A very accomplished artist not to be missed. Tickets £5.50 Adults. £ 4.50 Con. and Family tickets £15.00.

PARTY IN THE PADDOCK at The Cedars, Sat 11th September, Midday to 5pm - The big event to close off the summer season. String Quartet, Champagne Bar, Tea & Cakes, Rock Band, BBQ, Beer, Rocket workshop & launch, Morris Dancing, Traditional games, Stalls. In aid of BLISS, the charity for sick & premature babies. A fun filled afternoon for all the family. £1 entrance.

EWERBY LADIES GROUP Tuesday July 13th 8pm ‘The Birds and The Bees’ - Maureen Sutton talks about the Taboo’s of Sexuality in Lincolnshire in the early 1900’s. Should be an interesting evening?? Members £1 Non Members £3.

ST ANDREWS CHURCH GARDEN FETE at the Manor House Saturday 3rd July 3pm - Traditional Games, Produce stall, Cake Stall, White elephant, Tombola and Ewerby’s famous teas. St Andrew’s Church will be decorated with flowers with an Olympic Torch theme.

Words from yester-year, Friday 21st May 2004. 7.00 for 7.30pm - If you want to have fun and raise funds for worthy causes enlist for the above. Match your wits against the panel, they will try to convince you that their definition of the presented word is the correct one. Any resemblance of ‘Words from Yesteryear’ to the TV programme ‘Call my Bluff’ is purely coincidental. (The panellists are apparently much better looking!!). Proceeds towards ‘Sleaford  Swaziland Community Friendship’  &  ‘Sailability’. £7.50 per ticket includes Buffet Food & Nibbles. There is also a Licensed bar. Ladies Evening Container Planting, Tue 11th May, 8am - Demonstrations taking you through planting and growing stunning containers, step by step.

Catriona Macdonald Trio, Wed 5th May, 7:30 pm - One of the great fiddlers of the young generation. A performance by Catriona Macdonald is a delightful mix of exciting music and stories. Tickets available from Committee or pay on the door. Adults £5.50, Concessions £4.50, Family ticket £15.00.

Bank Holiday Bingo, 26th April 7 for 7.30pm - An enjoyable evening with cash prizes. Everyone welcome.

Clay Pigeon Shoot at Haverholme, Sat 24th April, 11am till 3pm - More than just a shoot, lots of activities to keep non-shooters and children happy. All welcome, contact Sarah or Adrian Whitehead  to book a place.

Best of British Evening to celebrate St. Georges Day, Fri 23rd April, 7:30 for 8pm - Traditional British Food, Games and music. Optional Fancy Dress, come as your favorite British character. Tickets for £5 include a hot meal.

Ladies Group meeting, Tue 20th April, 8pm to 10pm - Breast Awareness Night. To preserve our modesty this is a ladies evening only.

In Memoriam - Amos Priestley of Ewerby We were very sad to lay to rest Amos Priestley on Tuesday, 30 March. We thank God for Amos's life and life-long family presence in Ewerby. We especially pray for peace and comfort for 3anet and all the family.

Baptism - Charlie Ann Drayton - The baptism took place at Kirkby Church as part of the All Ages Together Service on 18th March. The church was packed and the service was followed by a buffet lunch at Ewerby Village Hall. Everyone enjoyed a happy time for family and friends.

Eastern Dancing, 9th of March - Not sure if we take part or watch!
