Meet and Greet - Thursday

An
enthusiastic crowd turned up to partake of a slide show and talk on
ornithology given by Ewerby resident Gordon Priestley. Participants were
treated to accounts of Gordon's ornithological activities and
achievements interwoven with information about birds to be found in
Ewerby and the surrounding districts. An interval during which cheese
and wine were available ensured some lively banter in the second half of
the show. An interesting and enjoyable evening. (Report by Bob Hallawell). |

Burns
Night, Saturday 26th Jan |
Another
successful event. The Haggis was tasty (!), Higgledy Piggledy kept us
going and at one point we thought it would never stop. A big thank you
to the organisers, who have put a lot of effort in this, as always. Any
